CreativeMornings is a creative lecture series, convening a group of individuals that identify as creatives on a monthly basis in 131 global chapters and counting. The purpose behind CreativeMornings is simple: allow people with an appreciation for creativity to enjoy fresh coffee, friendly people, scrumptious breakfast food and inspiring lectures – all for free. Volunteer hosts and their team members organize local chapters that not only celebrate a city’s creative talent, but also promote an open space to connect with like-minded individuals.

After immersing myself in CreativeMornings/DC for the past three years, I’m spending 2016 visiting CreativeMornings chapters around the world.

Montevideo; Buenos Aires; Lima; Istanbul; Prague; Belgrade; Tel Aviv. Maybe a few more for good measure.

I’ll be meeting the organizers and participants that make each city unique at their monthly events, and getting a tour of the local creative community through the lens of those that call it home. My monthly dispatches will be shared in CreativeMornings’ blog and newsletter. It’s going to be a beautiful journey that will allow me to connect the global network of CreativeMornings in a truly concrete way.
